Leaderboard rules
Last updated: 21 August 2026
How ranking works
- Every bid is made in whole US dollars. The opening bid is $1 and there are no cent bids.
- A pet's rank is determined by its confirmed bid amount. Higher bids rank first.
- If two pets have the same bid, the pet whose successful payment was confirmed first keeps the higher position.
- The leaderboard is permanent. A rank lasts until a higher qualifying bid moves ahead of it.
- The position shown before checkout is an estimate. Other completed payments may change the board while checkout is open.
- Likes are just for fun. They do not change a pet's leaderboard position.
What you can post
- A genuine pet photo that you own or have permission to publish.
- A pet name, owner display name or public handle, and a friendly caption.
- Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, fish and other lawful companion animals are welcome.
What is not allowed
- Sexual, graphic, violent, abusive, hateful or unlawful content.
- Images showing animal cruelty, distress or unsafe treatment.
- People presented as pets, advertisements, scams, unrelated promotions or impersonation.
- Photos or personal information posted without permission.
Moderation
Listings appear after payment and may be reviewed afterwards. We may hide or remove anything that breaks these rules, risks harm, infringes another person's rights or threatens the operation of the service. Use the Report link on a listing to alert us.
Payments
Payment secures a leaderboard placement at the moment Stripe confirms it. It does not guarantee a specific duration, traffic, clicks, attention or permanent rank. See the Terms for the full payment and refund conditions.
